A cracked supply line or an overflowing appliance doesn't check the clock before it ruins a floor. We built our Mendon dispatch around speed, because every extra hour of standing water costs more to repair.
Hirex Water Damage didn't start as a franchise looking for a new zip code to expand into — it started because Mendon homeowners kept describing the same frustrating experience: a national hotline, a long hold, and a subcontractor nobody vetted. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Certification isn't just a logo on our site — our Mendon crew leads have logged real hours on clean, gray, and contaminated water losses, which is why Flood Damage Cleanup in Mendon is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. You're protected from the moment our truck reaches your Mendon address, thanks to full coverage and proper Mendon, OH licensing.
Because our gear is staged locally rather than shipped in, Mendon response times run well ahead of a typical national franchise.
Talk to a Mendon landlord who's lived through a burst supply line at 3am and they'll confirm that response speed, not just skill, determines how much a job ends up costing. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
Our Mendon technicians go through regular continuing education, because a method that was standard five years ago may not be the best option today.
Plenty of the worst jobs we've walked into in Mendon started as something small that got put off for a few weeks. Here's what tells our team a Mendon property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
Recognizing one of these early is the difference between a contained repair and a gutted room, so reach out to our Mendon team before it spreads.
From a single flooded closet to a three-story commercial building, our Mendon crews scale the response to match the actual damage. Every service below reflects a specific piece of equipment or protocol, not just a marketing category.
Truck-mount extraction on every Mendon rig means high-volume pickup starts the same day, not the next. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Our drying plans rely on moisture meters and thermal imaging to target air movers exactly where hidden Mendon moisture is trapped, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
On the residential side in Mendon, we handle the flood cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so the home is ready for rebuild, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
For commercial Mendon accounts, we assign a lead, run crews outside normal hours to limit downtime, and size equipment to the actual footprint — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
When a Mendon job involves sewage backup, our team suits up fully, applies EPA-registered antimicrobials, and disposes of porous materials that can't be saved.
We treat affected materials during every Mendon job specifically to lower mold risk, and flag anything that needs deeper remediation.
You'll see a written estimate before any equipment runs on your Mendon property, not a mystery total after the fact.
Because equipment is staged inside Mendon, most calls see a technician on-site in under an hour.
We document every Mendon job with photos and moisture logs and can speak directly with your adjuster.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of a Mendon job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
A short call tells us whether your Mendon job needs one technician or a full crew before anyone drives out.
The closest available Mendon technician is routed to you with equipment staged and ready.
We extract immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where Mendon drying equipment needs to go.
Daily moisture checks continue on every Mendon job until each material reads dry, and you get a full report at the end.
Every Mendon job closes based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say so. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
We put the guarantee directly on the work order for every Mendon job, in writing. If a follow-up visit is ever needed, we send a technician familiar with the original job whenever scheduling allows, so you're not re-explaining the situation to someone new.
A guarantee only means something if it's backed by documented numbers, which is why every Mendon job closes with instrument readings attached.

See the zip codes and nearby cities listed below — our Mendon crews cover that full radius.
You don't have to stay on-site the entire time equipment is running, though we do need periodic access for moisture checks.
Beyond Mendon itself, coverage extends across nearby zip codes, with additional Mendon, OH crews available for large-scale or commercial losses. If your address falls inside or near Mendon, a Hirex Water Damage crew can typically respond the same day.
Local familiarity helps, since Mendon's building stock varies enough by neighborhood that a one-size approach to diagnostics doesn't always fit.
